“My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies; my ears have heard the defeat of my wicked opponents. But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted to the Lord’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God.”—Psalm 92:11-13, NLT
Blessings on your Sunday afternoon!
We begin another week of fasting and prayer, coming before the Lord and asking Him to move on behalf of our great nation.
I want to share portions of a two responses that I received this week. By the way as of this afternoon we have 55 folks who have joined our movement. I am edified. I encourage you to keep sending in passages or insights that the Lord is giving you.
Diane Opfer sent in several healing words. I am including this one: “5:30am someone is suffering from an accusing spirit. There are hateful words that have been spoken to you that have haunted you for a long time. The lord says, “I will wash these mean words from your mind and give my peace that passes all understanding. I fill your mind with my words and with my mind of love and acceptance.”
Richard Matzek shared this comment regarding Jonathan Cahn: “Look at this, dear brother. God is speaking from heaven. Hallelujah, his word is going forth!!! He is calling his people to come with this heart.” Rick included a link on YouTube to www.thereturn.org. This link announces a new prayer initiative for our nation. Regarding The Praise Community’s next gathering, the Fab Four: Rick Willis, Harry Bound, Finn Laursen and myself had already decided to show this video this coming Wednesday, 8-12-20, quite encouraging confirmation. We had first heard of The Return prayer focus from Dick McCormick and Ray Busony of Advent. I am quite positive that we will be receiving more news from Advent about The Return.
As we continue our journey of prayer for the nation and the birthing of The Third Great Awakening, I encourage you, while you are seeking the Lord for our beloved nation, that you make sure in the Holy Spirit that you are firmly planted in the courts of the Lord, as Psalm 92 speaks about. So that you and can do effective ministry as well as hearing from the Lord, it is important that there are no impediments in our way. We have been transplanted into the House of the Lord spiritually and I want to make sure that yours and my roots are digging
deep into the rivers of living water.
The Lord will deal with the enemies of our soul, as we go for revival on our knees.
May you be enriched this week in your set-apart time with Jesus.
