Many people do not seek the face of God because they feel an utter sense of hopelessness in their lives. Use these verses to guide a time of prayer for those whose eyes are blinded by a spirit of despair to find their hope in the only source for true, lasting hope—Jesus Christ.

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. (ROMANS 15:13)
And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” (REVELATION 7:14-17)
Your sun will never set; your moon will not go down. For the Lord will be your everlasting light. Your days of mourning will come to an end. (ISAIAH 60:20)

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (PSALM 34:18)
